- The geek journalist/blogger. His sights were set on music when he graduated in 1993. But something happened along the way. He ended up writing for an obscure teen magazine, then went on to join a medical magazine, where he dabbled on health/medical journalism for more than three years. In 1998, a fellow UP Baguio alumni found him and offered him a job in the country's first computer trade publication. In 2001, INQUIRER.net (then known as INQ7.net) was born, and he was among those hired to write about technology, science, business, among others. If not writing about technology, he blogs, plays his battered second-hand Stratocaster, and reads books on popular culture, current affairs, journalism, new media, dead Rock musicians and political figures in hopes of finding interesting lyrics for his imaginary hit song for his still-to-be-named rock band. Oh yeah, he's married with two rocker daughters and is almost finished with his MA in Journalism.
