Search for the new UPB Chancellor
The deadline for nominations and submission of relevant papers for the UP Baguio Chancellorship has passed (16 Feb 2009). Only two names have been forwarded:
There is a formal process of selecting a new Chancellor for UP Baguio including a public consultation with faculty, students, admin and alumni. We do not have details (yet) of how the alumni consultation (on March 4) will be carried out but we thought that we would ask the members of the Alumni ng UP Baguio Yahoo Group for their choice. Sayote Republic does not and cannot guarantee that the results of this poll will be considered as the voice of the alumni for the consultation. We will endeavour to get the results to the relevant parties before March 4 and hope that they would consider it if there is quite a good turnaround.

To help you decide, there is a presentation of their vision papers on the 20th of February, 8:30am at the Bulwagang Juan Luna at the UP Baguio campus. But for the majority of us who won’t make it for that presentation, here are the links to the CV of each of nominee that has been presented for the Search Committee.
