Kapatiran
On Sep 26, Manila and neighbouring provinces were hit by tropical typhoon Ondoy (international codename Ketsana) causing loss of lives and widespread devastation of property. Filipinos both home and abroad have united in the spirit of bayanihan so provide relief to those affected by this tragedy. And even when the storm has passed, there is still work to be done in helping those pick up the pieces and start lives anew. Here is a list (especially for the Baguio and UP community) – which will be updated regularly – of where and how you could extend a helping hand. If you are aware of other initiatives, please send an email to admin@sayoterepublic.net. Remember, no amount is too small!
