“The streetdance and float parade weekend is the highlight of Baguio’s Panagbenga Festival. It’s primarily a showcase of local talent, artistry and everything beautiful about the place. People from all over the country (and some parts of the world, even) flock to the mountain city just to watch the event. In fact the whole city was crowded over the weekend that maneuvering through the streets was a big challenge.”

There will be a UP Contingent for the Panagbenga (Baguio Flower Festival) Floral Parade on 23 February 2008 to be convened and spearheaded by UP Baguio. This is in line with the UP Centennial celebration with the theme “UP: Excellence, Service, and Leadership in the Next 100 Years”. UP T-shirts with the centennial seal will serve as the “costume” of the parade participants. The shirts will be available at the Chancellor’s office starting 11 February 2008 at P150 per …
