Lumipas na ang reunion. We read the stories. We saw the photos and videos. Salamat to all those who shared. It was a success.

But now everyone has gone quiet. Here and in the Yahoo Group, too. Bakit?

Any ideas on how to revive the discussions once again? Before the reunion, kulang ang 1 page to list all the emails that have been going back and forth sa email digest. Ngayon halos walang messages.

Anong puwedeng gimik?

There is no denying that we — the alumni who were not able to make it to the reunion — are feeling a deep sense of loss. We would have loved to be with everyone again but our present circumstances did not allow us to do so. It would be great if you could share your photos and videos with us so we could suffer more in silence and kick ourselves in the backside for not being there! As this is our virtual tambayan, it would be great for these mementos are shared here.

Hello to our dear alumni:

It’s two weeks to go before reunion time! We’re very excited; full swing na talaga ang mga preparasyon dito sa UP Baguio. We hope you’re planning on coming over — do be here early. After the inauguration of the College of Arts and Comm building and the Medical Clinic to be open to UPB sectors and their dependents — we have registration, then lunch, and other events onwards up to the artists night.

We know that things have been really quiet here at Sayote Republic and at times, it can’t be helped. Anyway, we know that there are people waiting for some updates on the upcoming reunion on the 5th of December. I gave a little yoo-hoo to the members of the Executive Committee who are part of the e-group about it and big thanks to Ma’am Vickie Rico-Costina for giving us this information.
